ECCE PLACES AVAILABLE FOR SEPTEMBER 2017

Club Ardagh is located on the grounds of St. Mel's National School in Ardagh, County Longford.  Club Ardagh is a non-profit limited company started by a group of local women who came together in 2003 to apply for financing under the Equal Opportunities Childcare Programme to provide a childcare facility in the village. Club Ardagh opened it's doors on the morning of September 1, 2009 to its first Montessori Preschoolers.

Club Ardagh provides quality childcare to Montessori Preschool and Afterschool children.  We have two Montessori Preschool classes and can accomodate up to 22 children in each room and 20 children daily in our Afterschool Service.  We encourage children to develop physically, intellectually and socially all in a safe, happy and stimulating environment.

Our staff are all qualified childcare professionals with substantial experience in their field.  All staff have access to ongoing training and development to ensure they can deliver the best care to the children in our service.  Club Ardagh accepts the principles of Aister and Siolta and has incorporated these principles throughout our everyday activities within the service.  Club Ardagh participates in the ECCE (Free Preschool Year), CCS (Community Childcare Subvention) and CETS schemes.
